Horse racing commands a much greater mindshare in Japan. This translates even to top tier arcade games with spectacular intricacies and commensurate development costs every horseplayer stateside with an xBox or Wii can only envy.

How are your ponies? Out of curiosity, why isn't Miyadi your trainer? You seem to have great rapport with him and he he does have a consistent place on the Trainer Standings list.
Yeah, Miyadi is the most entertaining character on the backstretch. He's abrasive and fanatical, even offensive--all in the best ways. I don't actually own any horses anymore though. I still follow the horses I did own on this blog b/c it's entertaining and some folks want to see how the book ends. If I ever own again, I would certainly love for Miyadi to train for me. I'd also want Jamey, as well, though. He was willing to let me in on 10% of a bottom level claimer when no one else would give me the time of day. That counts for a lot.
