- River Downs race caller Jason Beem notes that Travis Stone has been retained to call races at Louisiana Downs and that perhaps a new guard of announcers is assembling.
- This weekend I'll be heading to the Red Bluff Round-Up, which offers some bush track racing, as well as other events that are novelties to black type racing fans.
