John at Not to the Swift is the reason I was able to get those pics of Palm Meadows while tagging along as he chronicles Birdbirdistheword's (pictured) journey to the Kentucky Derby. John and Bird will both be in NOLA for the Louisiana Derby at The Fairgrounds on March 10th, so go check out the Bird blog to keep abreast of all the latest.
